Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory accuracy through systematic stock rotation and cycle counting
- Coordinate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Maintain equipment logs and report maintenance needs promptly
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and operational best practices
- Implement lean principles to reduce waste and improve workflow efficiency
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and pre-shift safety checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of forklift operation experience in warehouse environments
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current driver's license
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and hazardous materials handling
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperature conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
