Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized goods in high-volume warehouse environment
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections and report maintenance needs for equipment
- Coordinate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading efficiency for 24/7 operations
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems and RF scanners
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company best practices
- Train junior operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and minimum 2 years of recent experience
- Proven ability to operate multiple forklift types (electric, propane, narrow aisle)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to zero-accident standards
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hour shifts
- Basic proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF technology
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid California driver's license preferred
