Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in 24/7 warehouse operations
- Accurately inventory and organize 10,000+ SKU inventory using RF scanners
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless loading/unloading of 53' trailers
- Maintain OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections and safety protocols
- Train junior operators on warehouse management systems and safety procedures
- Optimize storage layouts to maximize warehouse capacity and efficiency
- Complete digital documentation of material movements and inventory discrepancies
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator with 3+ years industrial experience
- Valid Illinois driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Strong attention to detail in inventory control and safety compliance
- Forklift certifications (sit-down/stand-up, reach truck, order picker)
- Experience in temperature-controlled environments preferred
