Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-temperature environments (up to 95°F)
- Handle fragile and oversized inventory using specialized attachments (clamps, rotators)
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and maintain equipment logs
- Implement OSHA-compliant safety protocols in all operations
- Coordinate with inventory management team for real-time stock reconciliation
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and hazardous material handling
- Train junior operators on advanced equipment operation techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years of certified forklift operation experience
- OSHA 10-Hour certification and valid forklift operator license
- Expertise in narrow-aisle and high-lift equipment operation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand 8+ hours daily
- Experience with inventory management software (SAP, Oracle)
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Forklift certification must be current (within 6 months)
