Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision and efficiency
- Manage inventory using RF scanning systems and WMS software
- Maintain 100% OSHA compliance in all material handling activities
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance
- Train new operators on safety protocols and equipment usage
- Optimize warehouse layouts for maximum space utilization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily targets
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste
Qualifications
- OSHA forklift certification mandatory (valid within 6 months)
- 3+ years experience in warehouse/forklift operations
- Proficient with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand 8+ hours
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Experience with hazardous materials handling a plus
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
