Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment to move materials safely and efficiently
- Perform inventory control tasks using warehouse management systems
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets
- Document all material movements and inventory discrepancies accurately
- Train new operators on equipment usage and safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operation experience (certification required)
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current driver's license
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
