Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts and material handling equipment in high-volume warehouse setting
- Accurately manage inventory counts and maintain digital warehouse management system records
- Coordinate cross-functional team movements for efficient loading/unloading of trucks and containers
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Train junior staff on safe equipment operation and warehouse procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of certified forklift operation experience (sit-down and reach truck preferred)
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification and current forklift operator license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to zero-accident safety culture
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus
