Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in busy warehouse environments
- Load/unload freight trucks and containers using proper rigging techniques
- Conduct daily pre/post-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse documentation
- Train new operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- 2+ years of professional forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
