Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Manage inventory control systems using RF scanners and WMS software
- Ensure OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections and safety protocols
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of 53' trailers
- Maintain accurate documentation of material movements and inventory counts
- Train junior operators on advanced warehouse techniques and safety standards
- Optimize warehouse layouts to maximize storage capacity and workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of certified forklift operation experience (sit-down and stand-up)
- OSHA 10-hour certification and valid forklift operator license
- Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
- Preferred: Hazmat certification or experience with temperature-controlled environments
