Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts for material movement and inventory control
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and warehouse procedures
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams for seamless inventory flow
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and inventory records
- Train new operators on safe equipment handling practices
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and 2+ years industrial experience
- Ability to operate multiple forklift types (sit-down, reach, pallet jack)
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
