Responsibilities
- Operate electric/pneumatic forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company security procedures
- Train new operators on safe equipment operation and warehouse layout
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless material flow
- Optimize storage space utilization through strategic pallet placement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
