Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in high-volume warehouse environments
- Execute inventory management tasks including receiving, put-away, and cycle counting
- Maintain accurate electronic records for all material movements and inventory transactions
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations
- Train junior staff on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Support warehouse reorganization and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current operator license
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Previous experience in temperature-controlled environments preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment physical
