Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory with zero tolerance for safety violations
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams to ensure accurate inventory tracking
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA and company standards
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory documentation
- Train new operators on equipment protocols and safety procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift license with minimum 2 years recent experience
- OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
- Proficient in RF scanning and WMS systems (Manhattan, Blue Yonder experience)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
