Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials throughout 500,000 sq ft facility
- Perform daily forklift inspections and maintenance documentation
- Coordinate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using WMS systems
- Implement OSHA safety protocols during all material handling operations
- Train junior operators on equipment best practices
- Operate order-picking systems for complex inventory retrieval
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator with 3+ years industrial experience
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency in inventory management software (SAP/JDE preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work 8-12 hour shifts
- Experience with hazardous material handling protocols
- Spanish bilingual certification preferred
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
