Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets of materials up to 5,000 lbs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanning systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Coordinate with warehouse team for efficient loading/unloading of trucks
- Operate in temperature-controlled environments (32°F to 45°F)
- Train new hires on proper equipment handling procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recent forklift experience with valid certifications
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Proficient in RF scanning technology and inventory software
- Strong attention to detail with zero-tolerance for errors
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
