Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks per OSHA standards
- Manage inventory through precise stock rotation and cycle counting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
- Maintain accurate documentation of all material movements
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Implement lean principles to reduce waste and improve productivity
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and active driver's license
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating industrial forklifts
- Familiarity with WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Experience in temperature-controlled environments a plus
