Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts efficiently in warehouse/distribution environments
- Manage inventory through precise stock rotation, cycle counting, and accurate documentation
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform daily safety inspections
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Train new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Implement lean principles to enhance warehouse productivity
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current driver's license
- Proven ability to read/pick from complex inventory systems
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Experience with RF scanning technology and inventory software
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pre-employment background check and drug screening required
