Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Accurately manage inventory using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily; report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety standards
- Train new operators on equipment protocols and safety procedures
- Support inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and 2+ years of recent experience
- Proven ability to operate multiple forklift types (e.g., reach trucks, order pickers)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying temperatures
- Basic math proficiency for inventory reconciliation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- WMS/RF scanner experience preferred
- Background check and pre-employment drug screen required
