Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse settings
- Manage inventory using RF scanning technology and WMS systems
- Ensure OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections and safety protocols
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics operations with shipping/receiving teams
- Train junior operators on safety procedures and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and quality control records
- Optimize material handling efficiency in climate-controlled environments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience operating Class I-III forklifts
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification and valid NC driver's license
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy skills
- Experience in temperature-controlled storage environments
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
