Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse and yard environments
- Manage high-value inventory with strict accuracy requirements
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Coordinate with team members for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Maintain OSHA compliance and safety standards at all times
- Operate automated warehouse systems (RF scanners, WMS)
- Train junior operators on equipment protocols
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience operating sit-down forklifts (certification required)
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work extended standing hours
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Experience with automated warehouse systems (RF scanning, WMS)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
