Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in high-volume warehouse environments
- Execute efficient inventory management using WMS systems and barcode scanners
- Maintain OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections and safety protocols
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Train junior operators on advanced material handling techniques
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve operational efficiency
- Document inventory discrepancies and report equipment maintenance needs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience operating sit-down and reach forklifts
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification and NC driver's license
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Experience in temperature-controlled environments preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check
