Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks in high-volume warehouse environment
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF scanning technology
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading processes
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Train new operators on safe equipment handling procedures
- Optimize storage layouts to maximize warehouse space utilization
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience with valid certification
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand 8+ hours
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications (e.g., aerial lift, order picker)
