Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Manage inventory counts and maintain accurate documentation of warehouse activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading operations
- Train junior staff on safe forklift operation and warehouse best practices
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent accidents
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification with 2+ years of recent experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with excellent spatial awareness
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience in high-volume warehouse environments preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
