Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in high-volume warehouse settings
- Execute inventory control processes including cycle counts and stock rotation
- Maintain accurate documentation of material movements and warehouse activities
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading workflows
- Train junior operators on equipment operation and safety best practices
- Conduct daily pre/post-shift equipment inspections and report issues
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating industrial forklifts (sit-down/stand-up)
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification and valid Tennessee driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
