Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environment
- Execute inventory control procedures using RF scanning systems
- Maintain precise loading/unloading of freight trucks with zero-damage record
- Perform daily equipment inspections and safety compliance checks
- Coordinate cross-functional team movements during peak operations
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and efficiency standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years recent forklift experience with proven safety record
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with RF scanning technology and warehouse management systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in temperature-controlled environments
- Strong attention to detail with inventory accuracy experience
- Valid Georgia Driver's License and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
