Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environment
- Accurately manage inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on material handling equipment
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas following 5S methodology
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current driver's license
- Proficiency with warehouse inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
