Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2026
- Develop quantitative and qualitative frameworks to assess future scenarios and their strategic implications
- Produce executive-ready foresight reports and roadmaps for C-suite stakeholders
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops with cross-functional teams to align on future priorities
- Establish KPIs and metrics to track the evolution of future trends and strategy effectiveness
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype solutions for anticipated future challenges
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business Analytics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or innovation leadership with proven futurist methodology experience
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience developing multi-year strategic roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Portfolio of published foresight work or successful strategic implementations
