Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services using Go (Golang).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize application performance, latency, and throughput in a high-load environment.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub Actions.
- Participate in architectural planning and system design reviews.
- Identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities in the codebase.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Go (Golang).
- Deep understanding of concurrency, goroutines, and channels.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and gRPC.
- Experience with testing frameworks and TDD practices.
