Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage inbound/outbound material flow using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment with precision
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain 99.9% accuracy
- Implement lean principles to optimize storage layouts and reduce handling time
- Train junior staff on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets
- Maintain OSHA compliance documentation and incident reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/material handling experience in high-volume operations
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong mathematical skills for inventory management
- OSHA 10-Hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Experience with cross-docking and JIT inventory systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
