Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move high-value materials safely and efficiently
- Manage inventory using RF scanners and WMS systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
- Maintain OSHA compliance and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Lead training initiatives for new material handlers
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste
- Process inbound/outbound shipments with meticulous documentation
- Collaborate with logistics supervisors on continuous improvement projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years of material handling experience in high-volume warehouses
- OSHA Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF technology
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Experience with hazardous materials handling (HAZMAT) a plus
- Valid California driver's license required
