Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize inventory flow using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, pallet jacks) with OSHA compliance
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with shipping/receiving departments
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste
- Maintain accurate documentation of material movements
- Train junior staff on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits monthly
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/material handling experience
- Forklift certification (OSHA 30-hour preferred)
- Proficiency in WMS/RF scanning systems
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math and inventory management skills
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
