Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move goods throughout the facility
- Manage inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse records using WMS systems
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Implement lean principles to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency
- Train junior staff on safety protocols and material handling best practices
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse/material handling roles
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
