Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, sort, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated systems
- Execute inventory control procedures with 99.8% accuracy
- Operate warehouse management software (WMS) for real-time tracking
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train junior staff on material handling best practices
- Maintain clean and organized workstations per 5S standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in warehouse/material handling
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA preferred)
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree a plus)
- Experience with OSHA compliance and safety audits
- Valid driver's license (Class C)
