Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment to move raw materials and finished goods
- Manage inventory using WMS systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics activities including receiving, staging, and shipping
- Implement lean material handling principles to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Maintain OSHA compliance and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Mentor junior staff on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Collaborate with production teams to support just-in-time manufacturing processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse/material handling with forklift certification
- Proficiency in WMS and inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and operate in temperature-controlled environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
