Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control systems with 99.9% accuracy using WMS software
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated conveyor systems safely and efficiently
- Coordinate cross-functional material flow between production, storage, and shipping areas
- Implement lean principles to optimize warehouse processes and reduce waste
- Train junior staff on material handling protocols and safety standards
- Maintain detailed documentation of inventory movements and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with procurement team to align material handling with production schedules
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in warehouse/material handling environment
- Forklift certification (OSHA-approved) and heavy machinery operation expertise
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in climate-controlled warehouse
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to operational efficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
