Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory efficiently through 50,000 sq ft facility
- Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using WMS software
- Inspect and package materials according to quality standards and safety protocols
- Coordinate cross-functional team loading/unloading operations with 95% on-time performance
- Maintain detailed shipping/receiving documentation in compliance with OSHA guidelines
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization and workflow efficiency
- Train junior staff on material handling best practices and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in warehouse/material handling environment
- Valid OSHA forklift certification with recent operating experience
- Proficient in inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hour shifts
- Strong attention to detail with problem-solving capabilities
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and shipping documentation
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
