Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage and organize inventory using WMS systems to maintain 99.8% accuracy
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated conveyor systems with precision
- Coordinate cross-functional material transfers between production and shipping departments
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize material handling workflows
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs proactively
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and ISO 9001 standards
- Train junior staff on material handling best practices and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse/material handling environments
- Certification in forklift operation and OSHA safety standards
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional weekends
