Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated material handling systems
- Manage inventory accuracy through systematic stock counts and reconciliation
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
- Implement lean principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Maintain OSHA compliance and safety protocols in all operations
- Train new material handlers on equipment and procedures
- Generate detailed reports on inventory status and operational metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse/material handling experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Experience with automated conveyor systems a plus
