Responsibilities
- Execute complex material handling operations using forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated systems
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation processes
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics activities between receiving, storage, and shipping
- Maintain OSHA compliance and implement rigorous safety protocols
- Optimize warehouse layout and material flow efficiency
- Train junior staff on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Utilize WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- 3+ years of advanced material handling experience in high-volume environments
- OSHA Forklift Certification and specialized equipment training
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills for inventory optimization
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying temperature conditions
