Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and verify orders with 99.9% accuracy using warehouse management systems
- Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Optimize packing processes to reduce material waste and improve speed
- Train junior packers on best practices and quality standards
- Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies
- Maintain clean and organized workstations following OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with shipping/receiving teams to ensure seamless workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in order packing or warehouse operations
- Forklift certification and experience operating heavy machinery
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience leading small teams or mentoring new hires
