Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers (LTL, FTL, air, ocean)
- Manage documentation: BOLs, commercial invoices, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Optimize routing and freight rates through carrier negotiations and tendering systems
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and provide proactive updates
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, and customs clearance issues
- Collaborate with warehouse teams on dock scheduling and load planning
- Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping coordination experience in logistics or distribution
- Proficiency with TMS software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs procedures, and hazardous materials regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR record
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
