- Manage documentation compliance (customs, bills of lading, commercial invoices)
- Optimize routing and carrier relationships to reduce transit times by 15%
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely cargo loading/unloading
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Generate shipping reports and maintain digital logistics databases
- Train junior coordinators on SOPs and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Expert knowledge of INCOTERMS 2020 and customs regulations
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (Descartes, Blue Yonder) and MS Office Suite
- OSHA/FMCSA certification or equivalent logistics credentials
- Strong problem-solving skills with crisis management experience
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-border stakeholder coordination
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
