Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate contracts with 3PL partners and carriers
- Implement inventory tracking systems to ensure real-time shipment visibility
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and proactively address logistical challenges
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to meet delivery timelines
- Analyze shipping metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or supply chain management
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of LTL/FTL shipping processes and Incoterms
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
