Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL)
- Manage inventory control systems and optimize warehouse space utilization
- Prepare customs documentation and ensure compliance with international trade regulations
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve delivery exceptions proactively
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams to meet SLAs
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Train junior staff on shipping protocols and software systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping/logistics coordination experience
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to manage high-pressure situations
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- OSHA Hazmat certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Valid Indiana driver's license
