Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier selection
- Optimize transportation routes to reduce costs while maintaining delivery timelines
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse coordination for inbound/outbound shipments
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and proactively communicate with stakeholders
- Implement sustainable shipping practices to reduce carbon footprint
- Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to forecast shipping needs
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international trade regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certified Customs Broker or CSCP designation preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage high-pressure deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Excel and ERP system expertise
