Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipment processes including booking, documentation, and tracking via TMS platforms
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers and optimize shipping routes for cost/time efficiency
- Manage customs clearance documentation and ensure compliance with international trade regulations
- Resolve shipment exceptions and proactively communicate delays to stakeholders
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to align shipping schedules with customer demands
- Analyze logistics KPIs and implement process improvements
- Maintain accurate shipment records and generate performance reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency in TMS systems (e.g., Oracle Transportation, SAP) and EDI tools
- Certified Customs Broker (CBP) or equivalent international trade certification
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, FMC regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
