Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier selection
- Manage inventory levels and optimize warehouse space utilization
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve delivery discrepancies proactively
- Collaborate with international partners to ensure compliance with trade regulations
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Train junior staff on logistics software and best practices
- Prepare monthly shipping reports for executive review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Certification in Customs Brokerage or International Trade preferred
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and hazardous materials regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills under tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Excellent verbal/written communication abilities
- Experience negotiating rates with LTL/FTL carriers
