Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations including documentation preparation, carrier selection, and freight scheduling
- Monitor shipment status proactively and resolve transit delays through strategic carrier negotiations
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and hazardous material handling protocols
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading processes and reduce handling costs
- Manage inventory tracking systems to maintain accurate stock levels and shipment visibility
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers
- Prepare monthly shipping reports for management review and strategic planning
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics coordination with international shipping exposure
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs documentation, and export regulations
- Certified Customs Broker (CBE) or Logistics Certification (CSCP, CPL) preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with cross-cultural sensitivity
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
