Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations across air, ocean, and ground transportation
- Manage documentation compliance (customs, bills of lading, commercial invoices)
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier rates to maximize cost efficiency
- Act as primary client liaison for shipment status and exception resolution
- Utilize TMS software to track shipments and generate performance reports
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading and unloading
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight forwarding or logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active) and MS Office Suite
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred (CSCP, CLTD)
- Deep knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and customs documentation requirements
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-pressure environments
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
