Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end shipping operations, including documentation compliance, customs clearance, and carrier coordination
- Optimize inventory management systems to ensure timely order fulfillment and warehouse efficiency
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and delays through proactive problem-solving and stakeholder communication
- Implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance delivery reliability
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and international carriers
- Generate and analyze shipping performance metrics for continuous improvement
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet critical delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or TMS platforms)
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations (IATA, IMDG, customs requirements)
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Experience with hazardous materials handling a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
